Circus Vargas

Circus Vargas embarks on a brand new epic adventure under the big top as goggles, gears, and gadgets set the stage for 2017's retro-futuristic production, Steam Cirque. San Diego Lunar New Year Têt Festival

1027 is the year of the Rooster. This free event is San Diego's largest Lunar New Year Festival featuring Asian delicacies and unique cultural delights. The festival take place from January 20-22 and attracts over 30,000 guests.

San Diego Women's March
10am, Civic Center Plaza [start]
This is a peaceful march in San Diego in solidarity with the Women’s March in DC. Participants will gather in front of the Civic Center Plaza, and the program to kick-off the march will start at 10:00am. After the program, marchers will be directed to line-up and head towards Broadway and Third Ave. The march will progress west to North Harbor Drive and then north on North Harbor Drive, ending in front of The County Administration Building.
1 Wave Challenge
7am, La Jolla Shores
Head to La Jolla Shores to watch (or participate in) the 1 Wave Challenge, where San Diego surfers are attempting to break the world record for most surfers on a single wave. Proceeds raised will be donated to Boys to Men Mentoring's Champions for Youth campaign.
Nasty Women Art Exhibition
2-8pm, Helmuth Projects
With artwork ranging from $30-$300, this event serves as both a demonstration and a fundraiser to support organizations defending women's/individual rights. 100% of the sale will go to Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, San Diego LGBT Community Center, or La Maestra Community Health Centers.

San Diego Caffeine Crawl

This weekend take part in the the 4th annual Caffeine Crawl San Diego - one of the most exciting coffee events on the West Coast this year! Explore your local coffee, tea, and chocolate scene on a route of your choice. Over 25 local roasteries and cafes will play host, and a Sunday morning Meet N’ Greet at Ryan Brothers Coffee will feature Earnest Eats, Suja Juice and more.
